Move the jib boom (if equipped) parallel with the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove all loose items on the machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Determine the center of gravity of you machine. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genielift.com\/docs\/default-source\/default-document-library\/en\/safety-minutes\/2---feb---safety-minute---lee-vickers---lifting-a-boom-and-scissor-lift.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">See here<\/a> for examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attach the rigging only to the designated lifting points on the machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjust the rigging to prevent damage to the machine and to keep the machine level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Possibly use a spreader bar to keep the rigging from damaging the machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Genie Safety Minute is intended to facilitate health and safety discussions on the job site.
